TO AND FROM JFK AIRPORT TRANSPORT
When flying to New York City, John F. Kennedy International Airport is the most likely airport you pass through. Rail

Airport taxi
Taxis at JFK Airport charge a flat fare of $52 for trips between the airport and Manhattan. Taxis impose a $4.50 surcharge during peak hours (4-8 p.m. weekdays, excluding holidays. There is also a NY State tax of 50 cents added to trips within New York, but not for trips to NJ.
However, there are illegal solicitors at the airport, so visit the Port Authority Welcome Center at the arrival area and an uniformed staff will assist you. Also, you may head directly for the taxi stand located outside each terminal for safe and legitimate transportation.

When connecting within LaGuardia, use the convenient shuttle bus service. Take the free Purple Route, Red Route, or Blue Route. Curtesy buses to transfer between parking lots and terminals.
